2016 Caribbean Endemic Bird Festival
The festival is observed throughout the Caribbean from Earth Day, April 22nd to International Biodiversity Day, May 22nd under the theme, Spread your wings for bird conservation.
The purpose of CEBF is to raise public awareness and appreciation of our region's exceptionally rich and threatened bird life.
The Program typically includes:
* Public Lecture at UWI
* Birding Hike
* Whistle Like a Bird Contest
* Boat trip to Pointe des Foux to view seabirds
The event is co-ordinated by the Forestry, Wildlife & Parks Division of the Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry and sponsored by the Forestry, Wildlife & Parks Division and the Rare Species Conservatory Foundation of Florida, USA.
