Dominica's national Independence Celebrations culminate on Nov 3rd and 4th, with a Military Parade and Cultural Gala in Roseau (Nov. 3rd), and Community Service events in villages throughout the island (Nov. 4th).
Events begin about a month before and include a Heritage Day, Creole Day, and the colourful Market Day with a Difference. The Cultural Gala is for many the highlight.
